Afternoon Power Up!!

It’s hard getting through some days and if you’re exercising regularly you may get hungrier especially if you go hard with sessions like tabata workouts, weight training or even endurance training.

My run and 45minute kettlebell session at 5am meant that despite an amazing lunch with a friend come 2pm I was hungry and drooping.

Here’s what I had to power up:

– 1.5 scoops IsaWhey (by Isagenix) Vanilla Protein (27grams of amazing New Zealand cow whey!)
– 1/2 cup (ok probably more) frozen blueberries
– 1 tspn almond butter (mine was home made but a reputable organic brand is fine)
– 150 to 200 ml cold water

Whiz – bang – whip!!!!
Drink and nourish and keep going till dinner.
